Alexa is a career coach, educator, and serial entrepreneur focused on helping experienced professionals navigate rapidly changing workplaces shaped by AI, organizational change, and evolving expectations. Through Loken Careers, she's coached thousands of purpose-driven, mid- and senior-level professionals across tech, government, education, and nonprofits on career strategy, interviewing, and meaningful transitions - many of them seasoned experts with advanced degrees like MBAs, JDs, PhDs, and Master's.
At Cal Poly's Orfalea College of Business, she teaches organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, business communication, AI literacy, and career readiness through experiential, team-based projects. Her earlier path spans technical coaching at Indeed, founding a cause-based marketing firm, co-founding a recruiting firm for underrepresented talent in tech, and work in environmental and social-impact nonprofits.
Based in San Luis Obispo, Alexa especially loves helping experienced career-changers and aspiring entrepreneurs design impact-driven careers - plus piloting new experiential courses, teaching abroad, and exploring eco-focused work.
